In December, our branches at Melrose Arch, Sunninghill, Midrand and The Club, Pretoria all hosted successful networking events.
All the branches chose to offer members a range of breakfast treats, among them flap jacks with nutella and ice cream; croissants, muffins and doughnuts; granola and muesli; breakfast wraps; cheese platters and mimosas.
Members enjoyed the opportunity to relax and chat, and to learn about each others’ companies – and we know of at least three companies that will be using each others’ skills as a result.
At our Sunninghill branch, four of our members offered prepared presentations about their companies. Everyone enjoyed learning more about Vspace, Samra, Sambe Consulting and Genesis.
Building mutually supportive relationships at The Workspace
Instead of having to hunt for services from people and companies they know nothing about, small businesses at The Workspace can forge relationships with one another.
Our members get to know one another, building both personal and professional relationships. This makes work a more satisfying place to be, with like-minded people who know and support one another. It can also lead to mutually profitable business partnerships.
