Over March and April, many of our branches hosted networking events.
We’re delighted at the success of these events, with members telling us they really feel like they’re part of a community.
Support for small businesses and entrepreneurs
As well as giving everyone a welcome chance to socialise, our networking events are designed to help our members learn about one another’s businesses and to forge supportive, mutually beneficial business relationships.
The Workspace is host to people running such an interesting and diverse range of businesses. This means there’s plenty of potential for our members to find services they need, without leaving the premises.
Our members play a role in spreading the word about one anothers’ businesses too.
At The Workspace, we also know that sometimes, having some friendly faces where you work can make all the difference!
Tempting treats at our networking events
Images from our most recent networking events
Our Randburg, Melrose Arch, Pietermaritzburg, Sunninghill and Midrand branches all hosted networking sessions over the past two months.
Members were given the chance to talk about their companies – and some members prepared special presentations about what their businesses do. Everyone also enjoyed some tasty treats and the chance to chat, relax and unwind.
Thanks to everyone who participated and made the events such a success. Here we offer some images from the events.
Networking at our Blackheath, Randburg branch
Thanks so much to the following members, who took the time to prepare interesting talks about their businesses:
- Giselle from J and S Sprinklers
- Jackie from Graylink
- Ray from Rovert Marketing
- Sean from WASPA.
Networking at our Melrose Arch branch
Members at Melrose Arch enjoyed muffins, scones, fresh fruit and a range of other breakfast treats while getting to know one another.
Networking at our Pietermaritzburg branch
Warm thanks to everyone who participated in our networking event at our Pietermaritzburg branch. The day might not have been sunny, but that didn’t put a damper on our spirits.
Thanks to staff for organising all the great looking nibbles, from vetkoek and pancakes to crackers and cheese, sandwiches and cupcakes.
Networking at our Sunninghill branch
At Sunninghill, we enjoyed the opportunity to get to know everyone and to relax with some breakfast treats.
Networking at our Midrand branch
Last but not least, thanks to all the members at our Midrand branch who participated in the networking event – and especially to those who prepared special talks for us about their businesses.
