In May and June, seven of our branches hosted successful networking events.
These events are designed to help members learn about each other’s businesses, support one another and enjoy the experience of being part of a community. They’re also a chance for everyone simply to enjoy a break in good company.

To add some fun, many of our branches chose themes for their networking events.
Melrose Arch goes Mexican
The Melrose Arch branch added colour and zest with a Mexican fiesta theme. Members enjoyed nachos, tacos, burritos and sangria, and everyone had fun with fiesta-inspired photo booth props.

There was an amazing turn out. Clients immediately began networking with each other and the function was still busy much later, with more people joining in.

All our members thoroughly enjoyed the event – and we were pleased when a gentleman coming in for a meeting with one of our clients commented that he’d love to be part of such a close-knit community.
Thanks to our staff at the branch, Jodelle, Kyle and Kerry, and to everyone who participated for making the event such a success.
Centurion networking, with a Chinese theme
Staff at our Centurion branch went with an inspiring Chinese theme, complete with dragons, fans, lanterns and graceful temple images.

At the event, four of our members chose to present information about their businesses – Pregio Investments, Activate Africa, SaWorx and V-Eng Group.
Everyone enjoyed the décor, good food and drink and the opportunity to get to know one another better.

Midrand’s Winter Wonderland
Our Midrand branch chose a “Winter Wonderland” theme for its networking event this quarter. Members enjoyed warming soup with bread, biscuits and hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows – comfort food, ideal for chasing away the winter’s chill.

Everyone enjoyed socialising and networking in a relaxed environment. In addition, one of our members, Erick Ndlangamandla from Sciprofs, gave an interesting presentation about his company and what it does.
Thanks to all who helped make the event a success.
Continental breakfast at Morningside

Members at Morningside enjoyed networking over a continental breakfast, with croissants, muffins, muesli, yoghurt, fruit salad and, to take the edge off the winter weather, cappuccinos and hot chocolate.

We were delighted to see a few new faces, with some members joining us for the first time at a networking event.
Everyone really enjoyed the break and the opportunity to network.
Catching the sun in Pietermaritzburg

Members at our Pietermaritzburg branch participated in a friendly, relaxed event, talking and catching some welcome winter sun on the deck outdoors.

Along with hot drinks, everyone enjoyed a tempting range of finger foods, with wraps, French bread, crackers, cheeses, cold meats and more.
Breakfast networking in Sunninghill
Members at our Sunninghill branch enjoyed networking over breakfast, with freshly brewed coffee and cappuccinos, hot chocolate, croissants, muffins and custard slices.

Everyone enjoyed the break for their usual work routines, along with the chance to socialise and learn a bit about each other’s businesses.
Wine and Lindt chocolate: a perfect combination at The Club, Pretoria
Members at our Pretoria branch enjoyed socialising and sharing business ideas. We’re pleased that many of our newer clients also got acquainted with one another, creating a common platform so they can interact more on a daily or weekly basis.

Several members chose to present information about their companies, among them Horizon Compliance (compliance consultation), Cottle & Bergh (architects), BMGI (engineering), Encrypted Bits (digital agency), Design Trilogy (architects and interior design) and Pigs Can Fly (interior design).

Along with great conversation, members enjoyed wine (or non-alcoholic beverages) and Lindt chocolate, along with crackers, cheeses, cold meats and fruit.
