July to September this year saw us hosting even more successful networking events at a number of our branches. Members of The Workspace use these events to make business connections, meet new people and have some fun.
Our Blackheath branch went with a funky Mexican fiesta theme for its networking event. Members enjoyed chatting and learning about each other’s businesses while enjoying delicious Mexican-themed snacks.
“Thank you for the amazing networking event you put together today.”
Members particularly enjoyed the creative décor.
Those at our Randburg event enjoyed interesting talks from some of our members. Many thanks to the following members for telling us about their businesses and for their interesting insights:
“Set up was amazing. Job well done to the ladies. Can’t wait for the next one.“
As always, everyone enjoyed the chance to relax with their fellow members and learn more about each other’s businesses and interests.
Spring was definitely in the air at our Midrand networking event, with spring-themed décor and food to welcome the warmer weather.
“Looking forward to the next one!”
Members enjoyed meeting new people and exchanging details with each other.
Melrose Arch hosted another very successful networking event last quarter. Members enjoyed the event and the chance to mingle and socialise in a relaxed setting.
They particularly enjoyed the good food and said the vibe was great. Just what you need for a relaxed afternoon of making new connections.
Sunninghill put on a spread for members, who mingled, chatted and relaxed in a comfortable environment.
One of our members reported having made a great new business connection. That’s what we like to hear!
“Sugar and spice and all things nice” was the theme at our Morningside Manor networking event. Members enjoyed all sorts of delicious treats – even a chocolate fountain!
“Thanks for the awesome event. Since I started being a part of The Workspace, it’s been great. Keep up the good work.”
The members also managed to squeeze in some solid networking action. Well done to the team and members for a successful day all round.
At our Pietermaritzburg branch, a number of members spoke about their businesses. Thanks to Fit for Business, the Race Organisers Admin Group (ROAG), I-MEP Consulting Engineers and Hainsworth Koopman Attorneys. Thanks very much to these businesses for taking the time to talk to their fellow members.
Everyone enjoyed appetising snacks and drinks, and the opportunity to socialise. Members were impressed by the food and the event in general. We’re all looking forward to the next one.
At our Pretoria branch at The Club, members enjoyed a delicious brunch, along with interesting talks from fellow members.
Huge thanks to the following businesses for speaking at the event:
- Oxigen Communications
- Ochre Interiors
- Transkaroo Communications
- Garrett – Advancing Motion
Everyone started mingling right away. Some of our newer members were introduced to the group, which they say made them feel “part of the family”. Even members who hadn’t planned to attend quickly joined in when they noticed what a good time everyone was having.
Our Centurion branch had a lot of fun with a doughnut-themed networking event. Who doesn’t secretly love a good doughnut? Everyone was impressed with both the décor and the food on offer.
Halakah SA Tutor Centre and Recruitment Mecca were kind enough to speak at the event and members greatly enjoyed their talks. Thanks again to these two businesses for their time.
Networking events at The Workspace
At The Workspace, we’re big believers in the value of networking, especially for independent professionals, entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Plentiful opportunities for networking are among the key benefits of using our serviced offices and coworking spaces. The regular networking events hosted at many of our branches facilitate this process – and they’re great fun, too.
