At The Workspace, we’re thrilled to have been featured in two magazines in May.
The Workspace was one of the first local companies to offer coworking in South Africa.
We’re happy that our stylish serviced offices and coworking spaces continue to attract attention in the local media – and that today, our members include so many interesting, creative and successful South African business people.
Feature on The Workspace in Hello Pretoria
Hello Pretoria focused its May edition on The Workspace, interviewing our CEO, Mari Schourie, and profiling our popular branch at The Club, Pretoria.
The article describes our Pretoria branch as having “…a contagious atmosphere where the inspiration and productivity are tangible.”
It comments on the strategic locations of branches of The Workspace, outside congested centres and near convenient shops, schools and medical centres.
It also says, “They try to help people save time, money and effort, allowing them to focus their energy on building their business.”

The article quotes Mari Schourie as saying, “The Workspace is a full-blown hospitality business where the members come first.”
It notes Mari’s passion about small businesses, and her belief that The Workspace’s staff are fundamental to the success of members’ businesses. Says Mari in the article, “The people here are not just a number.”
Branches featured in VISI magazine
In the April/May edition of VISI magazine, two branches of The Workspace were profiled in an article on stylish coworking spaces in South Africa. Considering that the article covered a total of only 12 spaces nationwide, this is quite an achievement!
The article notes that “work perks” of both branches include tiered membership and day rates for coworking, private offices and hot desks, lounges, meeting rooms and boardrooms, and countrywide access to The Workspace branches.
